September 2017 - Wonderful trip to Tuscany, scooping 2nd Prize in the competition!

September 2017 - Finally brought the trailer home following a brief stay in Sint Niklaas.

July 2017 - Returned to France for the record breaking MAB2017, 456 balloons took off from The Grande Ligne!

July 2017 - Purchase of second hand 'Bottom End' - basket, burner, gas tanks etc (and a very smart trailer). Ellen Gee is now fully kitted out! 

The new equipment was inspected added to the Logbook whilst in France.

May 28th 2017 - Check of all equipment and sorting out the trailer, just beating the typical Bank Holiday showers.

April 7th 2017 - Tiny Ellen Gee took part in the Cross Channel Flight with 82 full sized balloons!

March 9th 2017 - Annual Inspection - 'All systems satisfactory' and ready to fly

1st August 2015 - The weather in France was not ideal for ballooning but we still managed 5 flights before returning home.

 

26th July 2015 (early morning)

Ellen Gee and 432 other balloons set a new world record for a mass launch at LMAB, Chambley, France. This was also Ellen Gee’s first free flight in our ownership and the first flight abroad – quite a day!

Our first inflation and everything looks/fits/works fine!

Ellen Gee Inspected and Certified to Fly, attached to a local basket and burner (the 'bottom end'). Everything is loaded into the trailer, we are cleared for take off!
